Mrs. Woelmer grew up in Eudora, Kansas and was homeschooled from sixth grade through high school graduation. She earned her B.A. in History from Hillsdale College and graduated summa cum laude. After moving back to Kansas, she worked in communications and legislative affairs for the administration of Governor Sam Brownback. She and her husband Joshua married in September of 2017 and are now blessed with three daughters. They live in Vassar, Kansas, where Joshua serves as the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church. In her free time, Mrs. Woelmer enjoys sketching, reading, painting, baking, and walking the trails near Vassar. She is excited to bring her love of language to the classroom for Wittenberg Academy.
