Pastor Johnson grew up in Minnesota and attended Lutheran schools throughout his education, beginning in the second grade. He has a B.A. from Concordia University—Seward, Nebraska (history) and an M.Div. from Concordia Theological Seminary—Fort Wayne, Indiana (exegetical theology).
He lives with his wife Leah and their four boys Alexander, Noah, Luke, and Josef in Corcoran, Minnesota. He has served as associate pastor at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and School in Corcoran/Maple Grove, Minnesota since 2003.
