Frau Venteicher is a native of Nebraska, but has lived in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Kansas as well. She currently resides in Nebraska with her husband and 5 children and is excited to be back in the “good life” cheering on the Huskers. Frau Venteicher studied Spanish and German at Concordia University of Wisconsin. During both high school and college she studied abroad. She spent a year in Germany as an exchange student in high school, then a semester each in Spanish and Germany in college. After graduating from Concordia, she decided to pursue a degree in education at the University of Northern Iowa, where current educational methodologies did not inspire her. Frau Venteicher has a passion for grammar and all things German. At home she homeschools 4 of her children, takes special care of the youngest, who has half a heart, and pursues various hobbies including knitting, baking, and exercise. Frau Venteicher looks forward to working with you and never holds it against you if discussing the ins and outs of German grammar is not nearly as exciting to you as it is to her.
